Updated values in Modal dialog are not reflected in the table in Constellation

Hi,

We have an embedded property of table type, where records are pre-populated through an API.

The requirement is to allow users to update the values in the table when required. However, when an existing record is edited through the modal dialog, the updated values are not reflected in the table.

What is the reason for this behavior, and what is the recommended approach to resolve it

Could you clarify if the issue is not updating the underlying row or updating it without refreshing the table?

I would also verify what happens if the same embeded property is loaded from a local data source (for testing purpose), instead of API.

@SANAGAVARAPUS3564 I suspect you are, or should be using, a data reference in your data model? Then you should be using CRUD actions to allow the user to update, which does require you to create a Save Plan (saveable datapage) to save that data back to your external SOR.
