Unable to use function "downloadfile" in Theme Cosmos application

I´m using Pega 8.5.2 and I´m trying to download a file from Pega´s file system through the function “downloadfile”.

Under Action I ran a script to call an activity and used function “downloadfile” to download the file but it is not working. In the application on clicking on button it is not working. It is happening in Theme Cosmos application.

Any suggestions? Is this a bug on the Platform?

@AnirudhaS16786446 can you try using DownloadFile activity instead of function.

Hi @sangr2,

Under Actions when i am using “Open URL in Window”, it is working. I am able to download my excel file.

I wanted to know why the function “downloadfile” is not working in Theme Cosmos. Is this a bug on the Platform?
