Unable to register for PCLSA v8.6 in Pearson due to prerequistes issue

Hi,

I am unable to register for PCLSA v8.6 in Pearson as it errors saying prerequisite exam needs to be taken. I have recently passed CPSSA V8.8, and I believe prerequisite for CLSA was having CSSA in any version. I have tried reaching out to Pearson Vue, as well sent emails to [email protected] but still the problem persists.

Pearson Vue says I am missing the prerequisite. Pega certification support says to look up the FAQ’s on prerequisites, and I also get a standard email saying they are not able to find certification with my email. I can look it up just fine from pega community portal.

Am I missing anything? Is there any other prerequisite that is needed? I dont have multiple accounts in Pearson Vue. I am able to login with my registered email, and look up all my previous certifications.

Any thoughts or help on this is greatly appreciated.

@svpunugu when I check the Pega LSA Architecture Exam it states:

PCLSA certification requires passing the Pega Architecture Exam and an Application design/build. Pega Senior Certified System Architect (P/CSSA) certification in any version is required to start the PCLSA certification program.

It also lists the Pega Lead System Architect Readiness Assessment completion as a requirement.

Can you confirm this?

@MarijeSchillern I am looking at CLSA v8.6 and it says Lead System Architect as a prerequisite. Here is the link

Is it a mandatory step to complete the mission before registering for the exam? Pearson Vue only says prerequisite exam needs to be taken. I have attached the screeshot from pearson vue.

I tried registering in Pearson Vue just now. It still gives me the same error. Does it take some time for the changes to take effect in Pearson Vue?

I have tried as you suggested, clearing cache, different browsers but still same result.

A dumb question, Does it matter if it is CPSSA v8.8 instead of CSSA v8.8.

I rechecked and the CSSA 8.8 exam is listed as a prerequisite.

Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser altogether.
