The LinuxLite-Pega242.ova link does not work

Hi, I’m experiencing issues with the LinuxLite-Pega242.ova link—it appears to have expired. I’m encountering the same issue with the link provided in the LSA course (Academy link: https://academy.pega.com/topic/cplsa-mission-challenges/v5/in/87441/86791). The link for Pega23 (Academy link: https://academy.pega.com/topic/cplsa-mission-challenges/v4/in/62371) is working fine. Do you have any workaround to obtain the Pega Infinity '24.2 Linux Lite VM?

Thank you

TL

@Tony Landino

This issue is not on your side – the LinuxLite-Pega242.ova download link in the CPLSA mission page is currently broken/expired, so clicking it will never download the VM. As a short-term workaround, you can continue using the working Pega 23 Linux Lite VM for practice, or use the Pega Cloud “Initialize Pega” option when you only need to review the solution. If you specifically need a persistent 24.2 environment, you can install Pega Infinity 24.2 on your own VM by following the 24.2 installation/update guide and then import the LSA course RAP into that instance. The most important step now is to log a ticket with Pega (Pega Academy feedback or My Support Portal) referencing the CPLSA mission page and the LinuxLite-Pega242.ova link so they can replace the expired URL. In your ticket, include the Academy URLs for both the 24.2 and 23 missions, a screenshot of the error or 404, and mention that the 23 OVA link works while the 24.2 one does not. Once Pega refreshes the asset their side, the same link in the LSA course should start working again. Until then, there is no direct way for learners to retrieve that exact 24.2 Linux Lite OVA file.

Hi @Tony Landino

Did you receive any response from Pega? As still its showing the same error (Link expired)

@Upalabdhithe OVA link is now available from CPLSA mission : The CPLSA mission challenges | Pega Academy

Thanks @Tony Landino

I am able to download and install the VM in my system now.
