Running SQL queries on Pega Cloud

Hi,

Greetings. Hope you are doing well! I am trying to run SQL queries against externalmktdata and based on this article

we should be adding a ExternalMKTData:DatabaseAdministrator role but i could not find this role and also i cannot see externalmktdata as a schema within the dropdown.

Any configuration that should be done?

I am on cloud with Pega infinity '24.1

Regards,

Bharat

@KOMARINA

ExternalMKTData:DatabaseAdministrator is available if you’re using Pega CDH.

@SohamM95 Hi, I am using Pega CDH but is not available or atleast i cannot see in my environment.

@KOMARINA

To run SQL queries against the ExternalMKTData database in Pega Cloud, you need to have the PegaRULES:DatabaseAdministrator role. If you can’t see the ExternalMKTData schema in the dropdown, it might be because the ExternalMKTData database rule is not properly configured. Please ensure that the ExternalMKTData database rule is correctly set up and that the user associated with the ExternalMKTData schema has the necessary grants to certain tables in the PegaDATA schema.
