    • Navigate to the “Operator” record for the user who wants to delegate work.
    • In Pega, operators are typically managed through the “Designer Studio.”
  3. Open Operator Record:

    • In “Designer Studio,” go to “Operator” > “Security” > “Operators.”
    • Locate and open the record for the operator who wants to delegate work.
  4. Navigate to Delegation Tab:

    • Within the operator’s profile, look for the “Delegation” tab. This tab contains settings related to work delegation.
  5. Add Delegation Rule:

    • On the “Delegation” tab, you can add a new delegation rule. Click on “Add Delegation Rule” or a similar button to create a new delegation rule.
  6. Configure Delegation Rule:

    • In the delegation rule configuration, you will specify details such as:
      • Delegate To: Enter the ID or name of the operator to whom the work will be delegated.
      • Delegate From: The operator initiating the delegation.
      • Type of Work: Specify the type of work that can be delegated, such as cases or assignments.
      • Conditions: Optionally, you can set conditions under which delegation should occur.
  7. Save and Test:

    • Save the delegation rule, and if applicable, test the delegation to ensure it behaves as expected.
  8. Activate Delegation:

    • Once configured and tested, activate the delegation rule to make it active.
  9. Verify Delegation:

    • You can verify the delegation by logging in as the operator who initiated the delegation and ensuring that the work is correctly assigned to the delegated operator.
