How to restrict the user not to select anyother values in the multiselect list.
For eg:
Lets say if the user select “None” option from the list then they cannot able to select other options from the list or the list should not show any results after select “None” option.
@Vimal Vijayakumar you can write a DT that would be triggered onChange along with the Refresh action on the multiselect. The DT can iterate over the PageList and check for the value. If the value in this case “none” is found it can set a flag to true. This flag can be utilized on the multiselect to make the control read-only.
Hence if the “none” is selected from the list the flag would set and the control would become read only restricting to make any other selections.
Or else if the condition is matched you can clear of the Source.pxResults to blank so that no other options are visible
@Tushar Banerjee Okay i go with your second approach (if “None” selected then i’m removing the source.pxresutls). Incase if the user unselect the “None” option them i need to show the entire list.
How can i achieve this.
@Vimal Vijayakumar In that case you would need to populate the source once again. You can create a temp list within the DT that might store the data and you can utilize when the above scenario occurs.
@Tushar Banerjee Thanks for your inputs
