Refresh button/auto refresh in constellation UI dashboard

Hi experts, what are the methods to either

  1. add an auto-refresh functionality to the dashboard, it should also indicate the refresh timing, so to ensure that it is working
  2. add a button on the UI so user can click on the refresh button easier (now users have to click on the action tab)

Dashboards in constellation do not auto-refresh (as of Infinity '25). The majority of Pega, even in Traditional UI has never natively supported auto-refresh.

You can use the messaging service to notify of outdated list views:

I know for Constellation feedback has been raised for this as its does come up occasionally (FDBK-125495 Auto refresh of list view without notification)

@SvenKrow I’d love to claim that in the 7 hours since you posted that I managed to get this into the Infinity '26 release, but I just don’t have the kind of super power!

I can however see dashboards should be getting an uplift to configure auto-refresh timing in Infinity '26 :rocket:

Great to hear that, I will explore the feature in the link provided.

Although I still like to suggest a feature/detail to show the timestamp on when the data is retrieved for each table.

My application work items has short SLA (5 minutes) and it will be a good feature for officers to see the refresh is working (whether manually or through system)
