If you want to use your existing persona email ID and add your official ID then goto your profile>my settings and add your official ID as an alternate email. After its added then make your official ID as primary email.
If you want create a new profile with your official ID as primary, then after creating the new profile use the account merger wizard to merge the profile with your personal ID.
