Platform Upgrade document Steps

Hi ,

Does any one know what are the best practices/steps we need to follow before/after going to do a platform upgrade (Complete upgrade process)

it may be huge/less difference between versions say 7.2 to 8.4 (or) 8.4 to 8.6

Steps - Follow the steps documented in the upgrade guide (Pre and Post).

With 8.4 or 8.6, I recommend going with Pega 8.6 as there are a lot of features added and bug fixes addressed. However, I suggest considering the latest version(most recent) if possible. This will avoid duplicate work to validate the application and bug fixes.

Thanks for the reply. but I am looking for a document, in general what are the steps need to take care while doing upgrade from any version to any version.

Your question is not specific enough to cater for an all-encompassing checklist.

Please do a PSC search using keywords of the scenarios that most concern you.
