Pega Test Automation Kit 1.6.3
It shows compatible with 24.1, but not able to access the kit in 24.1 UI. Toolbar access is not there in the portal in 24.1.
Not able to use the automation kit in 24.1.
@ChetanT6 Please make sure the latest version published recently (Pega Test Automation Kit | Pega) is imported, being used and is in the app stack. If referring to Dev Studio portal, it should be there. If still not able to access or issue is at Case Manager portal, pls raise an INC to get help.
@ChetanT6 You can verify its compatibility and ensuring all necessary patches or hotfixes are applied. Check if the Test Automation Toolbar is enabled in the operator’s access group and confirm that the portal configuration includes it. Re-import the PTAK 1.6.3 ruleset to ensure proper deployment and review the deployment logs for errors. If the toolbar is missing, validate that no customizations are overriding it in the portal layout. Clear your browser cache and restart the application server to load the latest configurations. Verify that the operator has the required roles and privileges, such as Automation Architect, to access the kit. If the issue persists, enable DEBUG logging for relevant classes to identify errors and check the application logs for any warnings. thanks
@ChetanT6 Thanks Vamshi and Rohith for sharing your inputs which we tried but didn’t get the desired result. I raised INC regarding this query and was informed that as long as its not a constellation application it will work, which means if you have upgrading Theme cosmos application to Pega 24 you will see the tool bar as expected.
So, the Pega test automation kit is not compatible with constellation application as of now.
