Pega Pulse updates for detailed posts and user groups

Need changes to Pulse widget (Constellation application version Pega Infinity 25.1.2) to show more details while posting a message and need to send some messages only to a certain group of users

  1. The business wants to be able to send messages to specific groups of users based on the current case, these should be calculated for each case, not based on manual configuration. Also need to add those labels also to the filter options.
  • Post to all levels
  • Post to current level (default)
  • Post to current level and lower
  • Post to current level and higher
  • Private Post

  1. Add to each post the Case Number, Request ID Number, Request ID Version of a case

  2. Additional Create a new Tab with shows Attachments from Pulse Chats only:

List Fields: Uploaded From, Uploaded Date, File Type, File Name, File Size, Case Number, Request ID Number, Request ID Version

Please share solutions and thoughts to achieve the above 3 points.

@BabitaV2 is this for Constellation? If so, this may help Implementation of custom pulse type in Constellation

I initially thought you could build your own pulse types but they do give extension points they expect you to specialise for your new post types, but you maybe able to use those extensions for OOTB pulse. I haven’t personally tested, just a theory at this stage.
