Pega Platform 8.5.3 Java compatibility

Hello,

We are using tomcat 9.0.45 on Pega Platform 8.5.3 version. We have to upgrade tomcat because of security vulnerabilities.

What is the latest tomcat version compatible with 8.5.3 Pega platform? Are there any documents about Tomcat upgrade process and compatibility chart?

@VeyselC17104443 your first port of call should be the Platform Support Guide

Please do not update to a Tomcat version that is not supported. You should be fine with the latest Tomcat 9 version. (As an example, all Pega images will be using the latest tomcat release. We build off the official tomcat image daily, so whenever that is updated (at least for minor/patch versions)

In general, stack component vendors manage forward and backward compatibility very effectively. This means that most of the time, the Pega Platform will continue to operate correctly when stack components are upgraded to new patch levels or versions. For the upgrade process, you should refer to the official Tomcat documentation and the Pega Platform Support Guide.
