I’ve been testing out the brand-new Pega Infinity Studio to check out the AI Assistant’s vibe coding features. While it’s an incredible addition to the platform, I hit an authentication roadblock that I think many enterprise developers will face.
While connecting the AI Assistant to standard public GitHub (github.com) works seamlessly, trying to hook it up to an internal GitHub Enterprise (GHE) instance fails during the activation step with this error:
“Uh oh, we couldn’t find anything. Please make sure you entered the user code correctly.”
Has anyone else run into this yet? I think it will be very helpful if it supports both github.com and ghe.com like VS Code.
This forum thread doesn’t actually contain a solution — it’s still an unresolved issue. The original poster reported that Pega Infinity Studio’s AI Assistant fails to authenticate with GitHub Enterprise (device code error) despite working fine with public GitHub. A follow-up reply asked about a related plugin, but the poster clarified that isn’t what they’re using and confirmed the problem remains open with no fix posted yet.
