below is my error Log from the installer I have
Make sure that you have downloaded the complete Personal Edition Setup file from the official website.
Make sure of Port numbers before installing.
and delete any existing folders of personal edition 8.7 restart you machine, extract the setup file of personal edition and try to install it again by turning of the any antivirus if exists.
what is stopping my installation
Could you please provide the installation logs to check the reason for the failure.
Above error depicts generic error text and as suggested from above logs in console we need to check logs for more info.
Detailed logs would get generated at C:\Users\UserXYZ\AppData\Local\Temp folder generally.

In this case the problem was an unsupported version of the the JDK.
