Is there a way to insert a Paragraph rule or similar rich text format of body of text into a View in Constellation?

In Pega Constellation, Views are used instead of Sections to display and collect information in your application. However, there are some limitations when using traditional UI Cases and Pages in Constellation applications. For example, some Case View features are not supported, such as opening attachments in a new tab instead of inline, displaying profiles of users listed in the Followers widget, and the Related Cases widget. Also, using traditional UI Cases in a Constellation application and simultaneously using Constellation Cases in that traditional application is not supported.

Adding to the above article, we can add additional text to views in Constellation in one of the below ways:

  1. Adding helper text to field. For example - For Full Name field , we can mention “Please enter your first name , middle name and full name”.

  2. Instruction text can be added in case stage\ field group. For Example - For Address , we can mention “Ensure State, City, Pin code are entered correctly. This will help us deliver on time”.

  3. Field of type - “Text (Paragraph)” . This field can be made read only and shown on the screen.

  4. If the text is very long , like “Terms and Conditions”; it is better to use case attachment rather than cluttering the screen.
