On download of results of report definition in Excel, optimized table on screen does not work

Hi All,

I have table with configuration “Optimized code” and outside table a link to download results of RD which is source of data page in optimized table.

On download of results of report definition in Excel, optimized table on screen does not work.

It requires to close and reopen the tab and then it works. Tried to refresh the Harness on click action of link (to download file) but it does not work.

Has anyone experienced it? Please suggest.

With optimize code, there are fewer options available.

please refer to the Optimizing table code article, it says

  1. When you optimize table code, some table configuration options are disabled. For example, if you use optimized tables, you cannot set a report definition as a data source, or use a custom category template. Because the availability of options also depends on other factors, such as the table context and other options that you select, see the Layout properties window to verify which options are available
