LSA Part 2 VM or community edition?

Is it fine to use Community edition for LSA part 2 exam or a VM is practically must?

Planning to write LSA v 25.

My recommendation to use VM for exam. Use Community Edition for testing adn quick experimentation and learning.

Also, what disadvantages if using community edition?
