I want to launch a new tab by passing an access group to RedirectAndRun activity. I have observed that the portal is getting launched with correct access group in a new window (not in a new tab) but we are losing context of original portal (from where we ran the activity) i.e. we can’t do anything in original portal.
If anyone has any solution, could you provide your comments?

This is a known issue when using the RedirectAndRun activity to launch a new tab with a different access group. The original session/thread context is lost, which can cause functionalities of the original application to error out.
