Someone asked me if it was possible to override the Buik Actions label on a landing page. My immediate reaction was “No”, but then I was wondering if it’s possible to use localization to do it. (I started experimenting with the Localization settings, but didn’t get too far.) I could see this is as a possible way to override labels like “Pulse”, if desired. I can also see the case where these labels are “Constellation Core” attributes.
Has anyone tried this approach? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
@DianeSK Indeed it is possible to localize almost any label on the UI in Constellation. V25 provides a consolidated bundle rule where you can setup localized content for any label in the application. Below is a snapshot of Pulse and Bulk actions table localized in V25.

It’s a bit tricky in v24 where your localized content is split into multiple localization rules as per your context (view, page, label, etc). We have to update specific localization rule based on the context accordingly.
Also i see that when i tried to localize the Pulse labels in v24.2.1, I was unable to see the localized content on the UI. Not sure if the labels are hardcoded inside the pulse component itself. Have to check that in detail.
@JayachandraSiddipeta Thank you for your extremely detailed post for V25, it’s incredible insightful. I’m working in V24.2.3 and I’m running into issues with localization of the following OOTB labels: Bulk actions (from an insight table), Add Record, and Edit Record (both from the OOTB add / edit form of a data type). I’ve tried the approach where I download the English localization and edit the translated string but that did not work. Do you mind investigating further in V24 and let me know if you were able to localize any of the fields I mentioned above? Thank you in advance!
I have spent last 2 days to localize the content in Insights. When compared to v24, v25.1.1 has some of the issues fixed related to Insights localization, and i was able to localize most of the content. Below are some snapshots
I tried all the possibilities of updating the bundle based on view, Insights and datapages,etc. But still some of the content is not getting localized.
There are still some issues lurking around localizing content inside the chart, labels in the filters, content coming from data pages,etc. So, i feel we are still not yet there at the finishing line w.r.t Localization in Constellation.
Below is the link which highlights some of the known issues in v25.1.1. For some of them we have a workaround and for other support ticket has been raised.
