I came across the Constellation UI Gallery 3.0.8 release on GitHub and found several components that could be very useful for building richer user experiences.
I understand from the support documentation, that these components are delivered as-is, and once imported into an application Ruleset, their maintenance becomes the responsibility of the customer/ partner.
Given that, is there any roadmap or plan to include some of these components as out-of-the-box (OOTB) features in future Pega platform releases?
Having them natively supported would simplify adoption and ensure long-term maintainability.
@Aymen_Jaiech a good question! Simple answer, is yes some become OOTB features in future releases. The GitHub is a good way to show the art of possible, innovate and see what we can do. Some of these solve generic use cases across organisations and become good candidates for platform.
I can speak to examples I know of in '25 like Case Hierarchy coming into the platform or where Banners partially come into platform. Where there is a straight incorporation into platform, we tend to remove these from the GitHub version. Where there is partial incorporation into platform, it might not be removed as people may want to experiment with the full component.

When it comes time to update, I would definately be keeping an eye on the GitHub and Release notes for Constellation UI to understand what has changed.
