Is there a procedure for uninstalling Pega 8.7 on On Premise server?

Hi,

Pega is installed on On Premise environments. 
The project stops and the customer would like to uninstall Pega. 
Is there a procedure for uninstalling Pega 7.X from the servers?

Yes, u can uninstalling Pega 8.7 on an On Premise server. Remove Pega from the server.

Follow these steps-

  1. Before uninstalling Pega, back up all your your Pega database and file system.
  2. Stop all Pega-related services, including Apache, Tomcat and any other third-party services that are being used.
  3. Remove the Pega WAR file and any related files from your existing application server.
  4. Remove the Pega database schema and all associated data.
  5. Delete the Pega file system directory, which typically contains log files, configuration files, and other Pega-related files.
  6. Uninstall any third-party software or drivers that were installed specifically for Pega.

These steps will definitely help you in uninstalling Pega from server.
