We are trying to follow this documentation in order to invoke an automation from a Pega App :
However, this seems to talk specifically about apps sitting on the Pega Infinity platform with Conestellation UI service, which is not the case for ours.
Will the integration work similarly for a Pega application on v8.7.6?
@Thierry_SLFPega 22.1 requires at least Pega Robot Manager 8.8.X to be able to invoke attended automations from a Pega Case. This means you’ll need at least Pega 8.8 of the platform to be able to use RM 8.8.X.
@ThomasSasnett Hi Thomas, to clarify, we’re not talking about RM, but a separate pega application. Does the minimum requirement of platform 8.8.x still apply?
@Thierry_SLFYes it does still apply. I assumed if you were invoking bots from Pega you would also use RM to manage them, but the invocation of the robotic automation doesn’t require Robot Manager. It does require the Constellation Messaging Service however which is not available in Pega 8.7.
@ThomasSasnett I am issuing a correction as it appears the CMS was available starting in 8.7.
