Would like to share the knowledge about installing Pega24.2 into new tomcat instance using Linux commands.

I believe knowing basics of installation is need before moving into using Kubernetes ( in future )

This post will have details about the linux commands for

  1. Installing new tomcat instance

  2. Setting up kafka and zookeeper for the instance

  3. installing pega 24.2 to the tomcat

  4. few challenges and fixes used in this process.
