Installation of Runtime and Studio on same pc

Hello,

I would like to ask, we currently go through transition of RPA solutions from 19.1 to 22.1

I understand that Pega Robot Studio 19.1. and Pega Robot Runtime 19.1 should not be installed on same PC.

But how does is work with Pega Robot Studio 19.1 and Pega Robot Runtime 22.1 / Pega Robot Runtime 19.1 and Pega Robot Studio 22.1 ? can it work together on one PC ?

@DavidT You indeed cane run 19 and 22 on the same machine. Here are links to the appropriate documents. Basically, install 19 first, although there are other considerations listed in the documents. Let me know if this doesn’t answer your question.

I went through the links but I could not find following.

If we currently have installed Pega Robot Studio 19.1 , can we install in the same PC also Pega Robot Runtime 22.1 ? Will that work together ? (vice versa)

@DavidTYou cannot have Studio and Runtime installed on the same machine. Even mixing versions. Studio does come with Runtime however, so you can do some testing with the Runtime.exe installed with Studio.
