I would like to learn more about the progress being made in the use of Artificial Intelligence within the robotics area.
I have noticed significant advancements in case creation and application design through Blueprint, which has greatly accelerated development and improved productivity. However, I have not yet seen a similar level of AI-driven innovation available in Robot Studio.
Could you share any information about current initiatives, roadmap plans, or upcoming AI capabilities for Robot Studio? I am particularly interested in understanding whether there are plans to leverage AI to assist with automation development, migration, process discovery, component generation, or other robotics-related activities.
Great news — the AI-driven capabilities you’re looking for in Robot Studio are already available today!
We introduced AI-assisted automation development in build 25.1.12 under the name Autopilot, and our latest build 25.1.27 significantly expands those capabilities and rebrands the feature AI Assistant. Here’s how it maps to what you asked about:
• Automation development: AI Assistant lets you build complete automation flows using simple, plain-language commands — no need to start from scratch.
• Application interrogation: It automatically interrogates Windows, web, text based, and Excel-based applications to generate automations for you.
• Component generation: You can use components from the Toolbox Catalog when creating automations with AI Assistant.
• Unit test generation: AI Assistant can now generate and customize unit tests for an entire automation or for selected blocks.
• AI-assisted edits: You can make AI-assisted changes to existing automations without rebuilding them from scratch.
