Hi Team,
I am trying to install the Pega 8.8 personal edition on my laptop. The new installation pack does not come with an installation guide as the previous versions. Instead, a link on the page took me to the Pega Platform page: Pega Platform | Pega Community
I can only find the following page, which I believe it is for the Enterprise version, not the personal edition.
Please advise how I can download the Installation/Upgrade guide for Pega 8.8 Personal Edition.

@luoj2 First of all there is no PEGA Personal Edition for 8.8. The page I believe you are trying to go to is for the Enterprise Edition.
The latest version of PEGA Personal Edition is 8.7 and that can be found through Support → Download PEGA Software —> Explore More @PEGA → Download Personal Edition.

I guess the one that I downloaded might be the enterprise edition then.
Looks like the PE 8.8 release is still pending according to the following Post.

@luoj2 Within my limited understanding, I think you might have to wait quite a while to get the next PEGA Personal Edition version, probably as late as until PEGA 9 comes along.
The differences between 8.7 and later versions are quite minimal, so that should not be much of an issue for you in exploring PEGA.
@luoj2 as @VTALUKDAR correctly pointed out there will be a delay before PE 8.8.x will be issued (tracked under BUG-758685).
I have had confirmation from our Software Downloads team: Personal Edition is not released for 8.8 and will likely not be available until 8.8.1.
The delay is due to some development issues and therefore work on PE is now pushed to Pega 8.8.1 version.

We are working on getting out a formal statement about the matter.
Our current recommendation is to use the Community Edition or Trial software instead. That version is constantly maintained to be the latest version.
