During major skim do we ignore the lower minor ruleset versions

Hello,

if we perform a major skim on ruleset XYZ:02-02 to XYZ:03-01, do we ignore XYZ:02-01 ruleset version during skim operation?

Can someone please explain this. Thank you!

Typically you should not.

You can choose to ignore, if 02-02 was created using minor skim of 02-01 and NO patch versions were created after that minor skim under 02-01. However, you include it in the skim anyway, it won’t have any adverse impact.
