Does the "Test ID" value change?

In the property panel of the Post button inside Pulse (OOTB), we have a Test ID assigned.

Will this ever change?

We don’t plan to customize it. Client wants to leverage that but wanted to make sure that will never change.

@Will Cho They will not change but these Test Id’s does not get generated in DOM for production instances.

In one of other threads, i saw that “you should grant the pxTestID privilege to the end user”.

Will this make Test ID available in DOM in production?

Hi, The Test ID will never change, but this should be used only for the Test Automation purpose. This should not be used to for any other functionality.
