For Pega 8.8 with Oracle 19c backend. Does PEGA support use of transparent data encryption i.e Oracle TDE, is there any document that talks about compatibility / supportability of Oracle TDE and Pega 8.8 .

@MaryAnnF Pega has not certified the Pega Platform with TDE so the short answer is that we do not support it. I could find no known externally-facing documentation referencing the use of this.
A similar question was asked on the forum a while ago:
Similar to other encryption-at-rest technologies our perspective is that as long as the encryption technology does not require the client software (the pega platform) to be aware of the technology, and is hidden behind the normal JDBC contract, then usually the Pega Platform will interoperate with this kind of DB encryption-at-rest technology.
We do recommend that since we haven’t specifically certified the platform with things like TDE, and don’t have specific examples of clients using it in production, that the client should be aware of any possible performance costs associated with the use of an encryption layer within the DB.
