We’re facing the same issue in pega v7.2 in our application . I could see that there is a hotfix HFix-58767, after installing which, we can resolve this issue.
I could also see that this has been resolved in pega v 8.2.6 from the list of resolved issues :

@SayoniM1 I don’t think it would work. The way article is explained it would work only in 8.2.x
You can test it quickly by installing the hotfix and test it. Please leave it as uncommitted.
Do raise an SR to get the specific answer.
@Raju_Botu Yes, looking at the article it doesn’t look like it would work. I have plans to raise an SR anyways, but thought of checking with the community before.
