Difference between the Local List Vs DropDown List

Hi everyone,I need a help.
I’m new to Pega.
I tried to find out the difference between the Local List Vs DropDown List but couldn’t find the answer.I am confused between the Local List Vs DropDown List.How difference between them.
Can any one explain the difference between them with an example.

Basically when we use the work “drop down list”, we are referring to the control “Drop down”.

And when we use the work “Local list”, we are referring to one of the way to populate the list.

Local list is when you manually create the list items in the property and then source the drop down with this property.
