Date Time control - Month does not spin past December and automatically increment year

We are using Platform 8.5.

Our client would prefer the date time control to increment the year when moving past December.

e.g. if month is set to November and year to 2023; If the month is changed to December, they would like the option to continue moving forwards and for the month to be changed to January and the year automatically set to 2024. Currently the month cannot be moved beyond December, and can only be moved backwards to November, October etc.

We appreciate that a custom date time control could be developed, but the preference is to use OOTB function wherever possible (for ease of subsequent upgrades).

Is their preferred behaviour delivered OOTB in later releases? Alternatively, can it please be suggested.

@BROUGHN1 I have been informed by the SME that for Traditional UI there is no change in the experience, but for Constellation there is change in the UX Experience, we have left and right arrow keys that allows to get this kind of functionality.
