Constellation service install on -premise without docker Pega 8.6.

Hi All

We are working on a POC to explore Cosmos on Pega 8.6 sand box and we have a base installation of Pega 8.6 on RHEL 8 and we want to explore Cosmos. As cosmos needs Constellation and there are no specific detail on install guide for the same and when I browse on PDN it gives only detail or an image for docker or helm based constellation service install. Can someone detail if there is any additional install steps for on premise Pega 8.6 on RHEL to explore Cosmos without docker.

@KrishnaK7281 to explore Cosmos, you don’t need Constellation Engine. Cosmos is shipped with pega, you just need to build your app on top of Theme-Cosmos application.

Constellation is only needed if you want to explore React based features. But that’s more advanced topic.

@vaspoz
is there any documentation available for how to install Constellation Engine on premises without using docker image or Kubernetes .

@RandhirS4721 I have not been able to find any documentation. It seems restricted to the use of docker/kubernetes

Cosmos React

Constellation UI static content service

Containerized deployments in Kubernetes environments

Pega-provided Docker images
