In Pega Constellation I need to generate an Excel file and attach it to the case. I am able to download that file uding pxGenerateExcelFile downloadFile option. Tried to use AttachFile and pxLinkAttachmentToCase but its not getting attached to the case.
Please help me on this..
Hi, After pxGenerateExcelFile call AttachFile ootb activity to attach file to WO.
Another alternative to use pxLinkAttachmentToCase activity.
what will be the value of FileKey, i tried with Attachment.pzInsKey its not working..
assuming you are mentioning pyWorkPage when calling pxLinkAttachmentToCase you may want to ensure your “Attachment” page you are referencing is mention as class Data-WorkAttach-File. If this is already confirmed, try to rename Attachment to AttachmentPage and execute. I have found sometimes renaming the page fixes any compilation bugs.
I tried to use pxLinkAttachmentToCase using this attachment getting attached to the case but it not downloading..

@suchitad This video shows how to attach an Excel file to the current case after generating it from the pxGenerateExcelFile activity. This example uses a traditional UI but the underlying activity might be still applicable. I would suggest to try and validate it.
I tried this one, its not working in constellation.. (Was working in cosmos)
@suchitad i tried the Youtube video above, and it worked fine for me in Contellation '26. I was able to generate an Excel file and attach it to the case.
