Checkbox inconsistent behaviour between Pega 7 vs Pega 24.1

We are upgrading from Pega 7 to Pega 24.1

In Pega 7, the checkboxes only if it is true, those fields are visible in Review harness as readonly and others are not showing in UI . Whereas in Perform harness, all the fields are visible and editable. FYI : Same section is rendering for both Review and Perform harness and there is no visibilty condition available. But in Pega 24.1 all the fields are visible in Review harness as readonly and in Perform harness all the fields are visible and editable. Is it possible to patch this issue?

Is there any documentation to define this behavior?
