Can we use RabbitMQ to replace Kafka in PEGA 24.1?

Hello PEGA Experts,

Forgive me if I’m asking a duplicate question.

I understand that PEGA is leverage Kafka for the Queue Processors and some communication between Kafka brokers and PEGA Platform components. Unfortunately, we don’t have a corporate level Kafka cluster which can be shared by different applications. Instead we have company level RabbitMQ cluster.

May I know is there any plan for PEGA 24.1.2 or higher version that we can choose RabbitMQ as an alternative approach for Queue Processor and other stream data processing? As operating a Kafka cluster for one application team is a little luxury.

Thank you.

@FSIT_YANG At this time, there are no plans for native support of AMQP (including RabbitMQ) in Pega 7. You should look to use Java or JMS client libraries for RabbitMQ for integration with Pega
