Can EDGE extension be applied to 19.1.43 PEGA version ?

Hi Team,

Could you please advise, whether the PEGA version 19.1.43 can be enabled with EDGE compatibility ?

~Aswin Sayeeraman

@AswinS03 No. You must use at least version 19.1.70 to get support for Edge. I suggest you get the latest build however as that would have the best support for the Edge browser.

@ThomasSasnett - Thank you

@ThomasSasnett Just for further clarity, does that mean the base runtime install must be at least 19.1.70? So if your users are running a base install version prior to 19.1.70 and using sync server to push out upgraded runtime versions, is there still no way to install the Edge extension without a reinstall of the base version?

Thanks,

Brian.

@BrianJ9608 Version 19.1.70 is the first version where Runtime can communicate with the Edge extension. You can install the extension in Edge independent of Runtime. I am pretty sure you don’t need to change your base version. You just want to make sure the browser has the extension installed and enabled before you assign a package (built in at least 19.1.70) that uses it.
