Campaign should not run during public holiday

My client has a requirement to stop campaign run during public holiday. Is there any OOTB way to do so ? Also can we associate a calendar rule for the same ? I saw number of post in this regard in PCC but none had the answer I was looking for. Have anyone solved something like this? I am using 8.6

Can anyone kindly help on this?

@MarijeSchillern My client has to work under a regulatory authority and this authority does not allow my client to run a campaign and emit actions for customer if it is a public holiday and non business day. I was searching if there is a way out to solve my requirement . The calendar rule I mentioned is just an idea which might support this requirement.

@Ankita.Ghosh , unfortunately there is no support for using the calendar rule in this scheduling capability. One manual workaround you might consider is to modify the schedule to have it skip the particular day or date (you would do so by changing the schedule to weekly, for the week of the public holiday and unselect the holiday day), and then post the holiday go back to a regular schedule.

@Ankita.Ghosh I checked and I believe there is no OOTB method,.

The requirement has been logged as a Product Enhancement Request : FDBK-69840

I believe the plans are that the product is likely to deprecate this feature as it is not in alignment with the core product’s move away from Campaign centric marketing engagement and into NBA/ 1:1 customer engagement.

Could you provide some more context in which you are evaluating this capability - would a Next Best Action capability meet this instead?
