Business Architect Certification Requirements

Hi,

Pretty soon, I am planning to get the Business Architect Certification. However, I am not exactly sure of the requirements. Do I have to:

1 - Complete the Business Architect '25 Mission (19 Modules and 20 Challenges)? Do I have to register for a class for that purpose?

2 - Register and take the exam?

Please help clarify.

  2. You can do self study and register for the exam, Alternatively, you can register for the virtual class Class Schedule | Pega Academy

Hello,

This morning I was looking to continue with my learning and the system displayed the following message below:

1 day 1 hr 15 mins Remaining of 1 day 3 hrs 20 mins

So I wasn’t aware that there was a timer associated with my learning. So what happens when the time runs out? I don’t want to lose all the momentum that I have. I am enjoying learning about Pega.

@JeanLouisK17702560 Congratulations on the achievement! If you recently got a passing score from Pearson Vue, you need not worry. The certification badge usually takes a few days up to a week to show on your Pega profile.

If you passed the certification a while back I would make sure to check:

  • That you have fully completed the Pega Business Architect mission on Pega Academy
  • That your Pearson Vue account exam history shows the passed exam.

Thanks for your answer. It has been now 7 business days since I passed my exam and I still haven’t received the certificate of completion. I called Pearsonvue (the exam organizer) about the issue but they were not ablet to help. They told me to call Pega but the number on your website 1-888-PEGA-NOW is disabled. I’ve already submitted a request via email but I still haven’t heard anything. Can you please help me get the certificate of completion? My employer is requesting it.

@JeanLouisK17702560 I don’t see any badge on your profile for completing the business architect academy course.

  • Did you properly finish the business architect academy course, including the mission test?
  • Do you see the exam as passed in your pearson vue account?

Hi @JeanLouisK17702560 : Please check some generic FAQ here. Make sure the email id associated with the Pearson account is matches the primary email address of your Pega account. If there is a recent update, then it will take 2 - 3 days to sync. If everything is good and if you are still not able to see your certification in the profile, i would suggest to use the contact us option in the same page.

@LantzAndreas , Yes I have passed the exam and I have completed all the courses, exercises, sessions and test on the curriculum. You can verify that on my account.

@JeanLouisK17702560 I see the BA academy course badge now, yes, but I didn’t see it last time you wrote. It thus seems you completed the course very recently, and not before taking the certification, as theorized. I am not on any support team, just trying to provide some level of help/guidance. @LantzAndreas , Yes it looked like I needed to validate one more item. When you suggested that I make sure that everything was validated, I went ahead to check and noticed that there was one item missing.

Hi @FarahFard , I am writing you because I don’t know who else to turn to. No one seems to be able to help. I am hoping that since you’re manager you might have some answers for me. I am trying to get a certificate of completion for the Business Architect after I successfully completed all the courses/activities in the curriculum and passed the exam. I’ve reached out to the test site, they say that they have sent my results to Pega but I still don’t see that on my Pega account. Can you please guide/help me to get that document? My employer is requiring that I provide proof of successfully completed the exam since they are sponsoring it. Please let me know if I need additional information from me.

If I understand correctly, you want a soft copy (PDF) of an actual certificate of achievement?

If so, we do not issue certificates of achievement. We provide certification badges.

We cannot disclose PII (personally identifiable information) in this public forum, but I checked and I see there is a disconnect between your Pearson account your Pega account.

My recommendation is to review our simple PDF guide to learn more about how to get your Pega certification badge to display on your Pega account profile.

Thanks for your response. You are correct! I am trying to present my employer with a document that shows that I am now a certified Pega Business Architect. I agree that there is a disconnect between my Pearson account and my Pega account because the Pearson account shows that I passed the exam whereas the Pega account doesn’t mention it.

For all the certifications that I have obtained in my career, a certificate of completion has always been issued or obtain via a download from my account. That’s what my employer is looking for. I believe the focus should be on making sure that my Pearson and Pega account are aligned since the results are not reflecting on my Pega account.

As noted in our PDF guide, the email address on your Pearson account has to be assoicated with your Pega account.
