When i click on “Build App” button for creating an android mobile application in pega, Its throws error saying “Couldn’t connect to mobile build service. Check internet connectivity for this pega instance”
The application has required certification sets for android. Is there anything i am missing in the configuration?
For Mobile Build Service account credentials, please reach out to your Pega client representative to submit a ticket in My Support Portal and request these credentials for you.
Please check and follow the guide:
Please also verify if you have SSL connection set up (as it is required) and if you are able to connect to build server (https://mobilebuildserver.pega.com/buildserver) and connection is not disrupted (by firewall setting etc.)
For other issues you can try the troubleshooting steps suggested in this similar PCC question?
I followed the steps provided above & it worked for generating APK file. But when we try to use the generated APK file in hand held device its throwing the attached error.
@Thaslima I’m really pleased that this issue has been resolved.
I think it would be best if you post your new error in a new PCC question (in the subject too) so that other forum users have visibility of it. It sounds like a separate issue for which a mobile user may have an explanation for you.
I found the following external article which seems to match your issue.
If you believe it to be pega-specific, feel free to post a new product question here to get further input from users.
@Thaslima Most likely there is some kind of filter/proxy between your Pega server and rest of the world which is blocking the communication. As a potential workaround I would advise remove all cookies from the Chrome browser on your Android device associated with a Pega server you are working with (How to Clear Cookies and Cache on Chrome for One Website).
