Hello dears,

After upgrading Pega platform from 8.6.6 to 8.8.3 version, we are trying to start one of the node whose nodeType value is “DDS” and getting errors below in the log file.

Unable to determine if Cassandra RPC Server is running javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException: org.apache.cassandra.db:type=StorageService

Any recommendations for solving this issue?

we are also facing same issue after upgrading from 8.6.6 to 8.8.3. did you got any solution here ? if so it really helps.

Hi @chandur16640520 The solution has been given by Pegasystems as a hotfix. As far as I remember, we have imported new jar file related Jakarta from Admin studio and the issue getting resolved. Even if I mentioned DDS here, the root cause was related ADM node actually. Whenever you disable - exclude the ADM node type, DDS will suppose to be running. I highly recommend you to generate a ticket to Pegasystems and get the hotfix in order to fix this issue.
