Consider, I have created a New Application which is Build from a Blueprint (having one Case Type).
Now I have modified the existing Blueprint and generated more Case Types, now here I want to modify the existing Application to add more Case Types from Blueprint. Can we really do modify the existing Application?
Once an application is created from a blueprint, it can be modified and extended independently of the original blueprint. However, changes made to the blueprint after the initial application creation do not automatically propagate to existing applications derived from it.
@prasadreddyM16651450 Yes, I agree to - changes made to the Blueprint after the creation of application doesn’t gets propagated to the existing application.
But, I wanna know the way to incorporate the existing Application from modified Blueprint without creating the New Application.
@AkshithReddyT Interesting one, curious to know the answers, AFAIK , the answer is with a modified generated blueprint of an application you cannot modify /change any assets of an Application which was created either manually or by a Blue print.
@JBRaghuraamm This is also what I am very interested in. Within our current Application I would like to incorporate a new Case Type, which is build with Blueprint. And when imported, the newly created Case Type also uses parts of the current Data Model (combined from current Application and Blueprint). So far this isn’t possible. It would be great if this is possible in a future release.
@AkshithReddyT Thanks for the update. Did Pega product team confirm that this feature is available in 24.2? Or did you mean 24.1.2? I see 24.1.2 is scheduled between the 27th of November and the 10th of December.
Can you please refer us to the source/URL where this information is available saying "Extend Application with Blueprint" feature is available in 24.1.2 /24.2?
