# What is the use of Notification Channels option in pega.

The path for Notification channels is:Configure\>User Interface\>Notification Channels but what is the use of this particular option in pega?Why is it used?

To notify the client about changes on the server without having to explicitly refresh the application, by setting up UI subscription channels.
