Using Pega for content workflow around external video tools

Hi all,

I’m exploring a setup where Pega Platform is used to manage a content pipeline, while actual video editing happens in an external tool like CapCut.

Idea is:

  • Use Pega for approval workflows (draft → review → approved)

  • Trigger notifications when videos are ready

  • Store metadata/status of edited videos

Not trying to integrate into free caqpcut download itself, just orchestrate the process around it.

Has anyone implemented something similar or are there recommended patterns for this kind of external tool workflow?

I do not have experience with similar app but my suggestion is to take a stab at Blueprint. It it is really great with providing structure for you app basing just on text textual description of process. Spend some time with writing down requirements and let’s see how Blueprint can help :slight_smile:
