# Use of custom LLM instead of pega provided LLM in Pega Coach

We would like to understand whether Pega Coach supports the use of a custom Large Language Model (LLM) instead of the out-of-the-box LLM provided by Pega.

If this capability is supported, could you please provide the following details:

- Whether custom LLM integration is supported for Pega Coach in our Pega platform version 25/ Pega platform 26.
- Any prerequisites or licensing requirements for using a custom LLM.
- Any documentation or best practices that should be followed during implementation.
