Unable to find "Change Stage" configuration option in Blueprint Workflow

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on configuring the Blueprint Workflow section and wanted to check if there is a way to enable or access the “Change Stage” configuration option.

At the moment, I’m unable to see this option in my setup. Has anyone encountered a similar issue or can advise if there are any prerequisites or settings that need to be enabled for this feature to appear?

Appreciate any guidance or pointers.

Hi Rahul, as of now there isn’t a Change Stage shape in Blueprint as you would find within the Pega Studios. As a suggested approach, use the Automation shape in Blueprint with a naming convention “Change Stage: ” and enter any relevant details in the notes for the purpose and any conditions for the stage change. Once the Blueprint is imported into Pega Studio, the automation step can be changed appropriately with the guidance provided in the Blueprint

you could also use a business rule on a decision shape

I hadn’t considered using a business rule for change stage, but I really like this approach because it allows you to direct where the work goes—just like the change stage step in the platform.
