I’m currently doing the System Architect course (8.8) and find that the time indicated to finish each module are very inaccurate. Some modules indicate that they will take 5 to 10 minutes to read through or complete, but in reality you find that it takes you 30 minutes or more. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Yes, it is not uncommon for online courses to have estimated completion times that do not accurately reflect the actual time it takes to complete the material. There are several factors that can contribute to this, such as individual learning speed, the complexity of the content, the inclusion of additional tasks or questions, and interruptions or distractions during the learning process.
It’s important to focus on understanding the material and completing the tasks rather than sticking to a specific time frame. If you find that you need more time than the estimated completion time for a particular module, take the time you need to fully understand the content and complete the tasks to the best of your ability.
It’s also helpful to reach out to the course instructors or other students for support and guidance if you need it. The System Architect course is designed to be challenging, and it’s important to seek help and clarification when necessary to fully grasp the concepts and apply them effectively.
