Hi,
Is there a way to reference application setting rule in Application definition rule to restrict ruleset versions?
Could you elaborate on the requirement a bit more? The approach you’re considering seems somewhat unconventional, so additional context would help in understanding the underlying objective and identifying possible alternatives.
You cannot use an Application Settings rule directly in the Application definition to dynamically control ruleset versions.
The ruleset version must be configured directly in the Application rule.
Open the Application definition and go to the Rulesets section.
Specify the required major and minor version, for example MyRuleset:01-02.
Pega will then restrict the application ruleset stack to the configured version range.
Update the Application rule whenever you need to move to a newer ruleset version.
You could use application versions to restrict the ruleset versions. You cannot use any application settings within the application rule to restrict the ruleset versions.
