We are currently on pega 8.3.2. There is some parallel dev work going on pega 8.3.2.
However, We are planning to upgrade to pega 24. Once environment is upgraded to pega 24, can we take out the RAP of residual devloped rules from 8.3.2 and install it in pega 24. Will it be supported? Or do we need to do the intermediate rules upgrade of residual devloped rules and then install the RAP to pega 24.
Please share your inputs on this?
As per my knowledge you should be able to use the residual developed rules from 8.3.2 in Infinity’24. However keep it in mind that the vice-versa scenario does not work, rules from a higher environment version will fail on a lower environment.

Ideally, yes. This will be supported. However, you may have to revalidate the changes to ensure all residual rules are working as expected once you import to version 24.
